Ebook Central: What happens to bookshelf item and notes when ebook is removed from platform?

When an ebook with annotations is removed from Ebook Central the ebook stays on the patron’s bookshelf. The patron may export notes saved for that ebook. If the library regains access to the book, they will be able to annotate in the Online Reader again as well.
