From the LibCentral DASHBOARD, you can get a list of all the OWNED titles (one line per unique title). In contrast, the Expenditure Report includes a separate line for every transaction (STL, credit, purchase) for each book. These two reports include very different information and aren't easily compared - in particular, do not expect the number of lines in the Expenditure Report to be the same as the number of owned titles.
From LibCentral DASHBOARD, click “OWNED” titles, click “Export Results”, choose CSV:
- One line per book – so number of rows equals number of unique books owned
- To see if there are multiple purchased copies for a given book, see the column “Owned”
- To see which access models are owned, see the column "Owned Access Model"
From LibCentral “Reports” tab, “Expenditure Report”, do a blank search (no special settings)
- One line per transaction – so number of rows likely to be larger than number of unique books owned
- Separate line for each STL
- Separate line for each ATO
- Separate line for each credit
- Separate line for each copy of the book purchased separately
From LibCentral “Reports” tab, “Expenditure Report”, “View Expenditure Summary”
- On summary page, “Total Number of Owned Titles” gives number of unique books owned (duplicate copies are not counted in this total).
