Why does my ftp/sftp Dialog alert not deliver results

There can be two main reasons why a Dialog alert is not delivering results in ftp/sftp format

1/ Issue with customer's ftp/sftp server. 

The customer's server may have crashed or be full or the password to the ftp/sftp server changed. Once the customer has been informed and the issue fixed, the data can be re-sent 

2/ The ftp/sftp url may be incorrectly set up

The correct format for an ftp/sftp server address is:

ftp://ftp.sever address

sftp://sftp.server address

However, the customer may have entered the ftp/sftp address in this format:

ftp.sever address

sftp.server address

This will need correcting in the customer's PAM
