You can access OASIS via a PC or Mac computer.
We recommend using one of the supported browsers to experience and use all of OASIS's newest features.
In general, OASIS supports the current and prior major releases of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari on a rolling basis.
NOTE: For the best user experience with the products, Internet Explorer 8 or higher users should disable the compatibility view feature. It should only be enabled if users are experiencing display problems - when you turn on compatibility view, OASIS will display as if you were using an earlier version of Internet Explorer.
- Pop-up blockers should be configured to 'allow all' for OASIS domains.
- Cookies should be enabled to correctly persist session information.
- Third-party plugins and add-ons which modify or add browser content are discouraged, as they may factor into problems and are not supported.
- Firewall or proxy software which acts as a filtering HTTP(S) proxy should be configured to exclude proquest.com. We cannot offer timely assistance in diagnosing issues caused by content filtering, whether at the client or at the perimeter of your network.
Please consult with your IT/administrative staff about any local machine or local-site anomalies. OASIS support staff are unable to help resolve issues determined to be local
in origin. Where problems are seen on only one machine, or only from your internal network (i.e. they are not reproducible from another machine, or off-site), our ability to help diagnose said problems is extremely limited.
