When trying to log in to Factiva, I am receiving the following message: "You are not approved to log in to Factiva from this network (IP address). Please contact your corporate library or local administrator.". How do I resolve the issue to access Factiva?

Many academic Factiva accounts accomplish security via IP restriction. This means that you must be accessing the product from an IP address/range that is recognized as being a valid point of access as predetermined by your institution. If you attempt to access your Factiva product(s) outside of a recognized IP address/range, you will receive the error message.

Solution: If you are student or library patron, please contact your library to obtain the correct instructions for accessing Factiva. If you are the Account Administrator, please contact customer service for assistance.
