Will cited references only link to subscribed databases?

Scholarly journal articles and dissertations/theses from which we’ve extracted references will include a link to a References list (and possibly a link to a Cited By list and a Documents with Shared References list). Clicking on the References link (or Cited By, etc.) will load a References page that lists each reference individually. Where possible, the ProQuest platform will provide a link to the referenced document, as long as the document is available on the ProQuest platform as part of the user’s subscription.

If the document is not available, and there is a link resolver set up by the subscribing institution, ProQuest will try to link out to a version of the referenced document via the customer’s link resolver.
