Soon the Digital National Security Archive (DNSA) will be moving from its current platform to join hundreds of other research resources on the ProQuest platform — offering an enhanced research experience.

The changes will take place over several months; and users will see messages on the current interface about the change. There will be a dual access period to allow you to make the switch at a time that suits you until the legacy platform is shut down later this year.

What do I have to do?
Nothing if you don’t want to. The migration will happen automatically later this summer if you choose to do nothing.

Will My Archive accounts be transferred?
No. We will not be porting over those existing MyArchive accounts.  Users will have to create a new account on the ProQuest platform, called MyResearch. My Research helps to quickly compile and manage detailed searches.

What will happen to the current version of DNSA?
The legacy version of DNSA will remain available until late summer. Once it is turned off all URLs will automatically redirect to the new platform.

How long will the redirects remain in place?
It is our intention to leave the redirects in place permanently.
