Admins, Content Policies: Interlibrary Loans (ILL)

Technically, the library may use portions of its ebrary ebooks in its customary ILL program under Section 108(g) of the Copyright Act.  However, given the high costs traditionally surrounding administration of ILL programs and the need for libraries to track DRM, we often recommend the borrowing library use an ebrary Short-term Loan as an alternative; this allows libraries to borrow entire ebooks directly from ebrary at a fraction of the cost of buying.  For more info about ebrary’s Short-Term Loan program, see pda-and-stl-philosophy
