What fields of data are indexed in basic search?

 
Fields of data indexed at the basic search level
 
 

The following metadata fields are indexed in basic search:
  • Title
  • Author
  • Publication Title
  • Series Title
  • Abstract

In addition to those metadata fields, all "term" fields (e.g. subject, company, location) appropriate to the set of databases available are indexed.
Where available, ASCII and native PDF full text are indexed.

If your institution has Web 2.0 features enabled in the ProQuest Administrator Module, tags and shared list metadata are indexed as well.
