How to Setup Email Alerts From ProQuest

 
Instructions on how to setup alerts from ProQuest
 

It is not necessary to have a My Research account to subscribe to email alerts. However, if you are signed into your My Research account while creating an alert you can view and manage all your alerts from within My Research.

Search Email Alerts

  1. Login to ProQuest and run a search.
  2. On the search result screen, click Set up alert.

  3. Select the settings that you want. If you are signed into your My Research Account you will not need to enter an email address.
  4. Click Set up alert.
  5. You will see a confirmation screen that the alert has been created. Verify the email address is correct.
  6. If you have decided you do not want the email alert, click Delete this Alert at the bottom of this window.
    Note: Customers who wish to migrate their search alerts must re-create them.

     

Publication Email Alert

  1. Login to ProQuest.
  2. Click on Publications.
  3. Search for a publication, or choose one from the list of publications and click on the title.
  4. Click on Set up alert.

  5. Select the settings that you want. If you are signed into your My Research Account you will not need to enter an email address.
  6. Click Save.
  7. You will see a confirmation screen that the alert has been created. Verify the email address is correct.
  8. If you have decided you do not want the email alert, click Delete this Alert at the bottom of this window.
