How to set up IP Access

 

How do I update my IP ranges in ProQuest Academic?

You can limit access to your ProQuest site by entering IP addresses in the ProQuest Administration Manager. When a user accesses the site from a permitted IP they will be granted access without having to enter further authentication details.

Note: The ProQuest Local Administrator Program is for authorized library/institution personnel only. Please contact Technical Support if you do not have an account set up, or if you forgot your login information.
Login to ProQuest Administrator Module at https://admin.proquest.com.
  1. Click on Authentication/Access on the left side of the page.
  2. Click on the IP Address tab.
  3. Enter in the IP range you want access from.  If you wish to enter a single IP rather than a range, you only need to complete the Starting IP boxes.  Please ensure that ranges are unique and do not overlap.
  4. Select a usage group.
  5. Click Save.

Any IP addresses listed here will control access to your ProQuest Academic, Congressional and Alexander Street databases.
