How to set up IP Access

 
 
Instructiions for setting up IP access
 
 
 

You can limit access to your ProQuest site by entering IP addresses in the ProQuest Local Administrator. Only computers with IP addresses that match those you have entered will be permitted to access your site.  For information on entering shared IPs click here.


Note: The ProQuest Local Administrator Program is for authorized library/institution personnel only. Please contact customer service if you do not have an account set up, or if you forgot your login information.
Login to ProQuest Administrator Module at http://admin.proquest.com.

  1. Click on Authentication/Access on the left side of the page.
  2. Click on the IP Address tab.
  3. Enter in the IP range you want access from.  If you wish to enter a single IP rather than a range, you only need to complete the Starting IP boxes.  Please ensure that ranges are unique and do not overlap.
  4. Select a usage group.
  5. Click Save.
