Why can't I reach my entire list of search results?

ProQuest will show you a maximum of 4000 results (minus any duplicates if you do not specify to include them).  If you need to view all of the results, we recommend you perform multiple searches, limiting each search by a different date range:

Examples:
If your initial search was from 1900 - 2000, you can try performing 4 searches, using a different date range for each:

Search 1:  1900 - 1925
Search 2:  1926 - 1950
Search 3:  1951 - 1975
Search 4:  1976 - 2000

Depending on the number of results, you may have to limit further.

If you are already searching in a single year, please note that the Advanced Search (screenshot above) allows you to limit by month and day as well:

Search 1:  January 1, 1980 - March 31, 1980
Search 2:  April 1, 1980 - June 30, 1980
Search 3:  July 1, 1980 - September 30, 1980
Search 4:  October 1, 1980 - December 31, 1980

If your search is below 4000 results and you are still having trouble viewing them all, please contact technical support.
