Question
I marked several articles, and walked away from my computer and when I tried to go back to the articles, they are gone and I had to log in. Why did this happen and what can I do to ensure my marked list is saved?
Answer

If you have a period of inactivity of 30 minutes or more, ProQuest automatically logs you out of your session. With this, items such as a marked list and search history are lost. It is best if you are going to leave the computer for a period of time is to save a copy of your marked articles/search history. To do this:

1. Go to the Marked List tab.

2. Click "My Research Summary"

3. Click on either Download your search summary as a web page / HTML file or Email your search summary as a web page / HTML file.

4. *If you clicked Download, select Save from your browser's file menu and save the html file to your computer.

If you clicked Emaill, enter your name and email address and you will receive the list via email.
